NEEM AND GLAMOUR *STORRY THREE* #part two#

It will be good for you to go somewhere else where people value you. very umbly gulmohar replied, Brother, I canot help it. I will grow oly where I have been planted. Sorry, I cannot move anywhere myself. Donot get angry. I will not trouble you anyways. The neem calmed down a little. But the big tree would always speak rudely and show gulmohar down. Por gulmohar would quietly listen to all that the neem tree said. Gradually, as days passed gulmohar grew big. But with neem at its side nobodfy actually bothered about it. With the advent of summer, neems importanceincreased. The passers-by would rest on the platform made under the neem tree. They would eat and relax there and praise its great shade. Neem would feel proud of it. As winter finished, people started stacking their woollens. In order to keep their skins safe from boils and other skin eruptions, they would peeel off its bark sparingly, They also made use of its tender branches to brush their teeth (continue)

STORY**03** NEEM AND GULMOHAR (KIDS STORY # part one#)

There was a gig blooming neem tree in front of Ritus house. Everyone who saw the tree could not helppraising its grandeur and qualities. Everyone is well aware of the good properties that neem possesses.

Every part of the tre, be it its roots, bark, branches, leaves, fruits - all have immense medicinal properties. Oxygen exhaled by neem is like elixir. Hearing everyone sing its praise, the tree was proud of itself. It would raise its head and swing in the breeze. slowly, it became haughty.

One day, some people from forest department came and planted a small sapling of gulmohar next to the neem tree. The neem got in furiated. With an arrogant tone the neem said, Hey smallie, did you find this place only?Go away from here. Go to some other place. A PLOT ON THE MOON * SECOND STORY* #part four#

One by one the animals were jumping in the lake water when cheeku reached the hills and stopped them from jumping. Dont make more mistakes by jumping into the water. Youhave already made a fool of yourself by booking plots on the moon. You fools, The mon is not in the waters but up in the sky. Only its reflection is seen in the water, Cheeku explained.

Everyone truned and looked up. They could see the moon shining. They realised their mistake. Cheeku had saved them from drowning. Jhaptu by then had fled with all the money. the animals now pledged that from now they would not act without thinking.

Giving the dream of owning a plot on the mon to animals, Jhaptu had made money from animals. From then on he was never seen in the jungle again. (finish......thanks)

A PLOT ON THE MOON * SECOND STORY* # part..three#

He told the animals that he looked at the moon from his den. Innocent animals believed him. But how will you take us to the moon? It is very far. said one of them. I have arranged for that too. Cann you see that hill. The moon is closer to it. I will transport you all from there to the moon, pointing to the hill, jhaptu said. From that point the moon was appearing very close to the hill. Animals were convinced that Jhaptu was not making, a fool of them. Jhaptu asked the animals, who had paid 200money to collect at a place but himself absconded. The animals were eagerly waiting to see the plot on the moon. They all gathered and reached the hill top. The moon that was appearing as far from the jungle was appearing same distance from the hill top. pointing to the other side of the hill, Bhondu Donkey said, Look ,the moon is there. It seems we have come a little too far on the top,There was a lake at the foot of the hill in whose waters the moon was getting reflected.The animals took it for the real moon and Jumped in the waters. Seconding Jumpy s suggestion Cheeku Rabbit said., I also feel that Jhaptu is playing a trick. After all who gave him the right to sell plots on the moon. . Before getting your plot booked, ask him how you would go to the moon? Jumpy explained, I think Jhaptu is upto something.

When the animals asked jhaptu, he was taken aback. later, he thought and found an answer for itl. Did you all see me for so many days?Jhaptu asked. No, where were you all these days< the crowd asked. I had gone to the moon to meet its king. Impressed by me he promised to allowme to cut plots on the moon, Surprised, the animals asked, did you go on the moon? Jhaptu, somehow, was able to divert the attention of animals by talking to them about the happenings in the jungle. Actually, Jhaptu was confined to his den as he had broken his leg. A PLOT ON THE MOON * SECOND STORY* part one

There was mayhem in champakavan. Everyhone was talking about the moon. Did you hear? Booking for plots on moon is on, Meeku Monkey said to blacky Bear. Blacky replied, I too have heard about it but who is booking, it is not known. I know who is booking it, said a sparrow, sitting on the branch. As soon as Meeku and Blacky come to know of it, they ran. There was already a great rush in front of Thaptu jackls house.

The guard standing outside Japtus house said, Forms have finished. Come tomorrow. With the rise of land prices in champakavan, there was race fpr biuomg ;amd at cjea[er rates pm ,ppm/ ka[ti was govomg [;pt fpr 10,000 money. An amount of 200 was to be given for intial booking. Rest was to be given after seeing the plot. Jhaptus plan worked. Because of such meagre amount for booking everyone was ready to get a plot booked. The very next day, he announced in the jungle that a vanmahtsav be organised every year in which gardens of a variety of flowers be cultivated. Green grass would be sown and nobody would pluck leaves unnecessarily.

In no time, entire nandanvan changed for geel. Now Rini and Mini, alnong with their friends, came to nandanvan to drink nector from flowers and revel in its beauty. (finish) thanks.

RINI AND MINI (kids story) (Part * two*)

As the afternoor rolled into evening, they realised that there was a small ground nearby. slowly, the animals came to squat themselves in the ground.

As eveyone was in bad shape with heat, they managed to break big leaves from the trees and used them as fans to cool themselves, Their children were playing in the field.

Rini and Mini were thirsty and hungry. They did not even have strength to fly and go back to champakvan.

Suddenly, their eyes fell upon chinky Grasshopper sitting on the plant closeby. When they told chinky about their trouble, he gave them some green leaves. Rini and Mini got some relief after drinking the juice of the leaves. Chinky told him that champakvan was better than Nandanvan which did not have either flowers or butterflies. They said that the forest was hot as its animals destroy its foliage. (part *two* countinue)

RINI AND MINI (kids story)

IN CHAMPAKAVAN lived twin sister butterflies-Rini yellow - coloured. They were as playful as they were pretty. Both would fly around in all the corners of champakavan the whole day and drink nector from flowers, adding beauty to the splendour of champakvan.
one morning, Rini and Mini felt that they should go and see the beauty of Nandanvan, the nearby forest. Being close, tho champakvan, the nearby forest, Being close to Champakvan, it did not take them time to reach the forest.

They flew around the entire Nandanvan but could not find any flower, It was hot with no breeze at all. It appeared as if the trees too had held their breath. All the creatures were huddleed in their abodes in the summer heat which made it difficult for the butterfly twins to ask anything to anyone.

Tired after some time, Rini and Mini sat on a small green plant under a big and shady tree.They found some relief in the cool shade. (part one .... continue)
